Erik Roscom's focus is on helping you. Erik was been a prosecutor for over 4 years, starting out as a legal intern for the Canadian County District Attorney's Office then a full time Assistant District Attorney in Custer County. After over 3 years at the Custer County DA's Office, Erik served in Blaine County District Attorney's Office as the office manager. Throughout his career with District Attorney's Offices Erik handled cases in Beckham, Blaine, Canadian, Custer, Garfield, Grady, and Kingfisher counties. While at the DA's Office Erik has lead or assisted on a variety of cases, everything from traffic tickets to murder charges. After his time as an ADA, Erik worked for a legal aid service, Oklahoma Indian Legal Services. Here Erik worked hard to clear the record of people through the expungement procedure, drafted wills, and advised on numerous matters throughout the State of Oklahoma. Erik also teaches courses related to law at Redlands Community College in El Reno, and serves as City Prosecutor for the City of Watonga. Erik is ready to use his experience to help you.
Erik was born and raised in El Reno and graduated from El Reno High School. Erik attended the University of Oklahoma and earned a Bachelor's in Science in criminal Justice before attending Oklahoma City University School of Law and earning his J.D. While at OCU law Erik participated in the Oklahoma Innocence Project as a clinic member, and worked for Canadian County Associate District Judge Bob Hughey, Oklahoma Supreme Court Justice James Winchester, and the Canadian County District Attorney's Office.
